While reading our blog we know you’ll discover some of the many things we love, like coffee, food, traveling & more. But we wanted to take the time to tell you what tops that list. Jesus. We are undeserving sinners who have been saved by God's grace! We pray that our marriage can be an example of Christ and His Church.

Our Story

We met when we were both students at Iowa State University. The first time we crossed paths was at a halloween party dressed as Elle Woods and a Hobo.. we'll let you guess who was who. It wasn't until early Spring 2014 that we began dating, then in September on Mikayla's birthday, Mitch proposed! It was the most beautiful proposal!

After an 8 month engagement we were ready to say "I do!" We will both admit that in those eight months we saw our selfishness, stubbornness, and overall sin so much more vividly. God was changing us and we are so thankful for that! Amidst all of the planning, crafting, shopping, and celebrating, our wedding day was right around the corner! 5.15.15 was the BIG day and an anniversary we can never forget!
