Last weekend we loaded up the cars and road tripped 9 hours down to Amelia Island, FL for a family wedding.
We arrived with plenty of time for a walk along the beach before getting ready for rehearsal dinner.
The air was warm, the water was cold, and the sand between my toes felt just right!
My first time in FL was everything I dreamed it would be and more!

Saturday we strolled around downtown and grabbed lunch at The Picnic Basket.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I truly love a quaint Main Street and boy did Amelia Island have just that!

The family kept talking about this little old gas station called T-Ray's that serves up the best Breakfast in town. So before departure, we made a stop at T-Ray's and THEY WERE RIGHT - it was delicious!
We had a weekend packed with wedding celebrations, scooter rides, a fire on the beach, frisbee, spike ball, football, walks on the beach (where Mom found all the sharks teeth in a 3 mile radius), great food,
AND fun family time!
